Creavo is delighted to announce it has been shortlisted for the Healthcare Technology of the Year award at the 2019 National Technology Awards.

The National Technology Awards are the most comprehensive celebration of technology of the year, organised by National Technology News. The awards celebrate the pioneers of new technology and help drive standards and encourage excellence. The Healthcare Technology of the Year award celebrates technologies that will or have had a real impact, no matter how large or small, to people’s lives and the healthcare industry.

Creavo was shortlisted for its development of a portable MCG device, Corsens ®, which non-invasively detects extremely small magnetic fields in a patient’s heart, and produces a trace with a magnetic map to indicate the difference between normal and abnormal cardiac behaviour. It is estimated that it could save the NHS millions of pounds per year.

Creavo’s CEO Steve Parker said: “We are very proud that our device has been recognised as one of the UK’s leading healthcare technologies, with the potential to have a significant impact on patient outcomes in the UK and globally.”

The winners will be announced on 16 May 2019 at the Awards Gala Dinner.
