Coventry medtech company expands into new office as it prepares for further growth. The move marks five years since Creavo was formed.

Coventry-based medtech company Creavo Medical Technologies (Creavo), has moved to a new site in the city to enable it to grow significantly and expand its on-site manufacturing capability. The move marks five years since the company was formed and is in preparation for the forthcoming commercialisation of its magnetocardiography (MCG) device, Corsens®, which has the potential to revolutionise the cardiac triage process in Emergency Departments and other healthcare settings.

Located in Westwood Heath, Creavo’s new head office at Cel House will enable the business to expand its headcount from 42 people to around 70 – providing employment opportunities in the region through a variety of new roles including technical, scientific, sales & marketing.

In addition to the new space, which will now span two floors, the move also allows Creavo to manufacture larger volumes of its devices on a single site. This is a significant development for Creavo who has secured distribution partners for commercialisation in Europe and the Middle East, with additional territories planned as part of an ongoing programme.

Steve Parker, CEO of Creavo, said: “As we celebrate our fifth year, this exciting move demonstrates Creavo’s ambition and is a mark of the confidence we have in our unique and innovative medical device to make a real impact within healthcare. We rely on talented people with skills in science and technology, and our strong links to local hospitals and research facilities in the area are the reasons we continue to strongly value our Coventry location.

We are a local company with plans to expand internationally and hope this move will help attract additional talent into the region and continue to solidify the midlands as one of the UK’s most important innovation hubs.”
